At Tunnel to the Sea, we are committed to making the vision of connecting the Salton Sea to the Pacific Ocean a reality. As we build momentum for this project, we wanted our branding to reflect the significance of both locations—one at the start of the tunnel, the other at the end. That’s why we’ve designed two distinct logos:

One Logo for the Salton Sea, One for the Pacific Ocean

Each logo represents a critical piece of the journey.

🌅 Salton Sea Logo: This design captures the warm hues of the Salton Sea’s breathtaking sunrises and the resilience of the ecosystem we are fighting to restore. It symbolizes the starting point—where the tunnel will begin, bringing life and sustainability to an area in dire need of water.

🌊 Pacific Ocean Logo: Featuring cool blues and an open horizon, this logo embodies the vast expanse of the Pacific, representing hope, connection, and renewal. It marks the source of the water we hope to bring to the Salton Sea, ensuring its survival for future generations.

Why Two Logos?

This project isn’t just about moving water—it’s about uniting two places that seem worlds apart but are connected by the possibility of innovation. The logos visually reinforce our mission: to bridge the gap between a thriving and a fading body of water.

We’ll be using these logos across our website, merchandise, and advocacy materials. They serve as a reminder that while the Salton Sea is in crisis, a solution exists, and together, we can make it happen.
